what is moa?The Medical Outreach Association (MOA) is a club at De Anza College that engages prospective health and medical students to explore the field through philanthropic activities and outreach in public health, as well as create a bridge between students and the medical field. Our mission is to inspire camaraderie between members and to provide them with the opportunity to ignite their interests in medical and health careers.

when & where are your club meetings?We have biweekly remote club meetings on Fridays from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM (time may vary depending on the event).
Pre-pandemic, we would meet in a De Anza classroom. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to transition to a virtual environment via Zoom. 🎥 Meeting Zoom Link: https://fhda-edu.zoom.us/j/89315535969 Until further notice, we will continue to conduct virtual meetings. Come hang out with us & earn some points! |
how do i join as a member?Join our emailing list and Discord to gain notifications of our events! To become an active MOA member, you have to earn MOA points. There are several ways to earn points as a synchronous and asynchronous club member. Check out the next question for more details.

what are moa points?The points system was created to encourage MOA members to be active. At the end of the quarter, a raffle will be held for a PRIZE! The more MOA points you have, the more entries you have for the raffle!
