As the Biological, Health and Environmental Sciences Division Counselor, I have a passion for supporting De Anza College students from diverse backgrounds, helping them to overcome barriers to become successful in achieving their educational and career goals. My approach as a counselor has always been student-centered and strength-based because I believe that students not only carry their dreams and family expectations to college, but also their own wisdom and cultural strengths. It is an absolute blessing for me to come to work every day and meet with students as they seek out hope and new opportunities. Among my counseling services, I can help you with developing student education plans, filing biology prerequisite clearances and course substitutions, as well as assistance with passion discovery and early career planning.
